Dear Parents,
Welcome to 3rd Grade! This note may helpp to put into perspective what we will be doing this year and to know some expectaions.
* There will be a folder for papers that you are to sign and return to school, this enables you to see your child's work.
* Religion-The children are expected to learn and know the meanings of their prayers; enclosed you will find the Morning Prayer. They will be expected to know the Hail Mary, Our Father, Glory Be, Hail Holy Queen. In addition to their textbooks, they will learn the order of Mass, The Rosary, and Bible Study.
* Spelling- Weekly Spelling Test
* Social Studies-Textbook Material, Projects, and Vocabulary Words from the Chapter.
* Science-Textbook material, hands-on projects, X tables, division, and fractions.
* All Assignments are listed on the board daily. STUDENTS are responsible to mark their own homework or test assignment in the Student Planner that has been purchased by the PTG.
* I encourage the students to keep abreast of their work on a daily basis so the information is learned and retained.
